Predicted that the interlayer tunneling in certain double-layer quantum Hall states behaves like tunneling between two superconducting thin films. The prediction was observed by I. B. Spielman et al, Phys. Rev. Lett. 84, 5808 (2000).

Predicted an AC Josephson-like-effect with a fractional Josephson frequency f=eV/h in interlayer tunneling. Not observed yet.

Predicted a spontaneous U(1) symmetry breaking and related superfluidity/superconductivity in (mmm) double-layer FHQ state (in the absence of interlayer tunneling), which include When m=1 we recover the linear gapless mode first found by Fertig in (111) state. The gapless mode was observed in (111) state by I. B. Spielman et al.
